LongWalk Oklahoma has announced the formation of their new Youth Board, to take LongWalk Oklahoma to the next level in youth leadership. The Youth Board will be instrumental in coordination and oversight of the monthly LongWalk Oklahoma social gatherings, and the community service (The Secret Service) projects that are in the works. Below are links to the on-line downloadable versions of the forms that will be needed by your students when they sign up for a LongWalk Oklahoma Backpack Challege program.

The Levels

This document describes each Level in the LongWalk Oklahoma Challenge curriculum. Level 1 trips are available for anyone interested in participating in the Longwalk Oklahoma Challenge program. Level 2 and Level 3 trips have certain requirements for participants that must be fulfilled prior to advancing to the next level. Please see the appropriate area below for the specifics for each level.

Gear List

The gear list is the essential list of equipment that will be needed for anyone participating in a LongWalk Oklahoma Backpack Challege. Please review the list carefully, and be prepared to ask any questions at the Parent's Meeting for your group.

Permission Slip

The Permission Slip is a required form for the parent or guardian of each student participating in a LongWalk Oklahoma Backpack Challege to fill out completely and submit prior to your student being able to join in their adventure. Please review the Permission Slip carefully, and be prepared to ask any questions at the Parent's Meeting for your group.

Photo and Recording Release

The Photo and Recording Release is a form required by LongWalk Oklahoma. It is to be filled out by the parent or guardian for each student participating in a LongWalk Oklahoma Backpack Challege to allow us to use any photos and recordings made of your student on our website or with any group photos. Please review the Photo and Recording Release form carefully, and if there are any questions, be prepared to ask them at the Parent's Meeting for your group.

Medical Consent and Release

The Medical Consent and Release form is also a requirement for the parent or guardian of each student participating in a LongWalk Oklahoma Backpack Challege. You will need to fill it out completely and submit the form prior to your student being able to join in their adventure. This will allow us to provide medical attention to your student in the event of an emergency situation while on our adventure. If there are any questions, please be ready to ask them at the Parent's Meeting for your group.
